RE-OPEN FOR DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW SERVICES
In response to COVID-19 the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Public Library of Clarksdale and Coahoma County has decided to RE-OPEN THE LIBRARY ON TUESDAY, MAY 26th, 2020, for DRIVE-THROUGH WINDOW SERVICES ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. All public programs and outreach have been suspended, however there are free activities posted on the homepage.
The library has reviewed its operations and programs to determine how to best safeguard the health of the public and our staff while still delivering important services. Until further notice we are providing limited services and have implemented the practices below:
Drive through window services for books and audio.
Office services: Faxes, printing, photocopying, scanning, and laminating.
Return dates on all items previously checked out have been extended.
All fines have been waived during this time, however fees for lost books remain.
Books can be returned through the book drop near the drive through window - only.
Digital services – e-books and audio books – are available for youth and adults. Click on Free Activities & Electronic Resources for a full listing of what’s available. Also view the various selections under More Free Electronic Resoucres in our Catalog.
The Library is unable to accept donations of books and other items at this time.
